"Misfits" Playwright Dies

Playwright Arthur Miller Dies at 89
ROXBURY, Conn. - Arthur Miller, the Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright whose most famous fictional creation, Willy Loman in "Death of a Salesman," came to symbolize the American Dream gone awry, has died. He was 89 (Associated Press). Miller wrote the screenplay for the 1960 film, The Misfits, as a star vehicle for his then wife, Marilyn Monroe. The Misfits is one of Suburban Cowboy's favorite movies.
See, for an excellent feature on the making of the film.

Goodbye, Norma Jean
